How Does the Live Bee Removal Process Work?
This environmentally friendly process begins with our field expert locating the queen bee and placing her in a bee box. Once the queen is contained, the rest of the colony will follow her into the receptacle. We then remove the hive’s honeycomb and relocate the colony to a local apiary where the bees are cared for by a beekeeper. After removing the hive, we apply a pet- and family-friendly product to remove the bees’ pheromones and prevent bees from rebuilding a hive in the same location.
